History
400 W. Capitol/The Regions Center is a 30-story skyscraper in the heart of downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, and a landmark Class A office building in the city’s Central Business District. Designed by Wittenberg, Delony & Davidson Architects and completed in 1975, the building rises 138.4 meters (454 feet), making it the second-tallest structure in Arkansas and a defining feature of Little Rock’s skyline.
Originally known as the First National Bank Building, it was Arkansas’s tallest building when completed. The building’s 30th floor was home to the celebrated restaurant Jacques & Suzanne and event/meeting space The Little Rock Club for many years. The Regions Center has since undergone major renovations, including a $14.5 million modernization in 2024 that upgraded its HVAC systems and elevators. Today, it offers a premier commercial environment with amenities such as a fitness center, conference rooms, on-site dining/retail, parking deck and 30th-floor event venue (Skyline) with sweeping views of the city.
Location
The building occupies a premier spot at 400 W. Capitol Avenue, where Capitol Avenue meets Broadway Street, in the heart of Little Rock’s Central Business District and Financial Quarter. Ideally positioned in the city’s governmental and commercial hub, the building is just a short walk from the Arkansas State Capitol and the vibrant riverfront along the Arkansas River.
Commuters enjoy easy access to Interstate 630 (east/west) and quick connections to I-30 and I-40, local bus routes via the Central Arkansas Transit Authority, downtown pedestrian pathways, and a short drive to Clinton National Airport only 3.5 miles away. This central location puts the best of Little Rock – business, dining, entertainment, and culture – within easy reach.
